Hi, I'm Sarah, I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Fashion Design based in Cardiff, South Wales. This is my graduate website showing my portfolio of competitions through my final year and my final major project 'YOUTH'.

I'm a midlands girl who moved to Wales to set off on my journey to have a successful career in fashion. I've always been a creative person and took up creating my own pieces of textiles from an early age. In my GCSE's I took three creative subjects; Textiles, Art and Photography which are where the skills I've learnt are helping me towards my degree.
I also attended a 'Dress Making, Pattern Drafting and Cutting skills' course at school, which have assisted in enhancing my current skills. These have developed through being on a Fashion Design course.

Through my final year I worked on competitions for brands that I felt that suited my style of work so that I could build up a portfolio to  potentially show to fashion houses and companies.

Using my experiance of textiles through GCSE's and A levels i felt comfortable experimenting with new fabrics and techniques such as using silicone when building up my research booklet. I feel the need to go into depth when it comes to experimenting and research so that the project is constantly developing to strengthen my final outcomes.

Previous to University I was very much a textiles person, creating my own art pieces and selling them through friends and also over the internet selling pages.
